In addition to the World Championships in Splatoon 2 and Smash Ultimate, there will be a Nintendo Direct starting at 9 a.m. PT on June 11, with a focus entirely on the software part:
Nintendo Direct E3 2019: The presentation will begin at 9 a.m. PT on June 11. Viewers can watch it by visiting https://e3.nintendo.com/. The presentation, which focuses entirely on software, will offer a look at games scheduled to launch in 2019.
This effectively disproves the rumors and speculations regarding a Switch Mini and/or Pro being announced this E3, sadly. Moreover, the official tweet confirms that the Direct will be focused on 2019 Switch titles. And there hasn’t been an emphasis on any single game, meaning we’re more likely to get announcements and details around a diverse set of titles, as opposed to a good chunk of the presentation focusing on something like Smash DLC (like last year).
What games are you hoping to see this E3?
