There is a huge rumor going around that the US Switch Sales for December has been leaked prior to the official data release. This leak supposedly puts the Switch at just over 2 million sold for the month of December alone, which puts it over the PS4 and the Xbox One combined total.
That is nothing to shake a stick at! Is this the result of the Christmas season or is Super Smash Bros Ultimate responsible? Or could it be both? I would like to think they both made an impact but hopefully Switch can continue this trend. I am really curious as to how it sold globally for the month.
It is great to see Nintendo bounce back after the atrocious sales of the Wii U (although I really LOVED that system). Hopefully this trend keeps going and perhaps one of these days we can see Wii-like sales numbers. A guy can dream, right?
