Overcooked! 2: ‘Kevin’s Christmas Cracker’ Seasonal Update

December 14, 2018

Team17 has a nice gift for all owners of Overcooked! 2.  A FREE festive holiday/winter update has just become available, announced on Twitter.  The devs continue to deliver with this spectacular game, adding 5 new kitchens, 3 recipes, 2 chefs, practice mode and enhanced online play that now supports 2 local players teaming up with 2 other local players.  The update also includes a number of big fixes, detailed below.

It seems people tend to either love or hate the Overcooked! series.  I have a friend whose family spends every get-together playing it for hours, but it just hasn’t sunk in the same way with mine.  Personally it just gets a little too difficult and chaotic quickly, but some people understandably love that!  Either way, it’s great seeing the care and attention the developers continue to give this game and the undeniable fan base that’s grown.

See more below from Team17’s official update notes:

Kevin’s Christmas Cracker includes:
– Five Christmassy kitchens!
– Three sweet new recipes: mince pies, Christmas pudding and hot chocolate!
– Two new chilly chefs – elf and snowman!
– Practice mode – unlimited time, unlimited orders. Cook as much as you like!
– Additional online features – support for 2 local players to play with or against 2 other local players over an online connection
