Remember those cold winter mornings when you waited outside Gamestop/Target/WalMart/Best Buy for the store to open on release day? Well it’s almost that time again as the new release dates for the Super Smash Bros Ultimate Amiibo draw close.
As you may or may not have noticed, the Wolf Amiibo was released on Friday with Super Smash Bros Ultimate and, predictably, has already sold out in the States. Naturally, the scalpers have their listings up offering Wolf at a 100% markup and collectors appear to be willing to pay that price. (Hint: read below and WAIT!!)
Several other Smash Ultimate Amiibo are due for release soon, so if you want to avoid disappointment, or be able to sleep in to a decent hour, visit nowinstock.net which has a great Amiibo tracker.
In addition to the Ultimate specific Amiibo, Nintendo is also re-releasing the Smash Amiibo over the coming months. So if you’re missing one from your collection, keep an eye out for that Bayonetta Player 2 that might be soon at your local Best Buy. Also keep an eye on Nintendo’s website for its CSIPA certificates which indicate restocks will be just around the corner for various Amiibo.
