Halloween Themed Splatfest This Weekend!

October 17, 2018
Share

There is a special Halloween themed Splatfest this weekend on Splatoon 2 dubbed “Splatoween”!  In this event players will get to choose sides between “trick” or “treat”.

Time to break out the treats and costumes! A frightfully fun experience is coming to Inkopolis Square. This isn’t just a normal Splatfest: it’s a masquerade (mas-squid-ade?) filled with ghouls and haunting décor. Yes, Splatoween is almost here!
Inkopolis Square is getting a monstrous makeover so you won’t want to miss it. Splatoween will be:
10/19 (Fri) 3:00 p.m. PT – 10/21 (Sun) 3:00 p.m. PT
Of course, a Splatfest as festive as this requires an equally festive question. Which do you prefer: trick or treat? Do you practice pranks at squidnight? Or do you eat elite treats?
Speaking of treats, we have a special free treat for everyone who has the Splatoon™ 2 game. First, please subscribe to the Splatoon 2 news channel (named Squid Research Lab Report) on your Nintendo Switch™ system using the icon on the right side of this article. Then, look for the article named “Free download!” on your news feed. It will give you access to Splatoween-themed in-game gear. To locate the article faster, you can also sort channels on your news feed by pressing the Y button.
Please hurry though—you’ll need to access the content before that article ink-dives off your news feed!
And if you want more info on the game, including info on how to buy the digital version, please visit https://splatoon.nintendo.com.
We hope you enjoy Splatoween. Have a spooktacular day!

Do you plan on participating in this special Splatfest?  Have you chosen your side yet? Let us know in the comments and come join us in our Community forums which can now also be found on Tapatalk!
