TIME just released their “Genius Companies 2018” list and lo and behold, Nintendo is on that list! The article even prompted Reggie Fils-Aime to post about it on his LinkedIn account (which I do follow):
The part I’m having trouble with is that TIME writer Alex Fitzpatrick goes on to say that:
“By succeeding despite the ubiquity of smartphones, Nintendo’s Switch proves there’s still an appetite for great mobile gaming systems.”
It really irks me when people only look at it as a “mobile gaming system”. Quite honestly, I’m playing in docked mode 85% of the time.
Still, it is great seeing Nintendo receive so much attention! It is definitely something we wouldn’t have experience during the Wii U era! I know this post isn’t that long but still, I wanted to share this with you guys because I found it fairly fascinating!
