Skipper Pavilion To Be the Last NEW Stage For Splatoon 2

September 26, 2018

Nintendo of Europe recently tweeted that Skipper Pavilion, the latest new stage being added to Splatoon 2 in October, will be the last of the new stages.  This is sad to hear but, hey, the line has to be drawn somewhere, right?

Notice, however, that they say “last new stage”, which would seem to imply that older stages featured in the first Splatoon game could still be added (there are still a few left).

Hopefully this means that work on Splatoon 3 will begin if it isn’t already in production.  Nintendo has already been doing a fantastic job at supplying a steady stream of new content to Splatoon 2.

What are your thoughts on this news?  Do you think Splatoon 3 will be a Switch release?  How would you like Splatoon to be changed up for the third installment?  Let us know in the comments!  Also, come join us in our Community forums and get to know the great gang already established there!
