PowerA has just announced that they will be bringing new wireless controllers to the Switch.  Best of all, this includes GameCube styled controllers available in both wired and wireless!

The wireless controllers above will be available for $49.99 while the GameCube wireless controller will retail for $49.99 while the wired version will be $29.99.  While Geek.com is reporting these will be available on October 8th, Amazon is indicating the wireless controllers will be released on October 15th and the GameCube controllers on November 2nd.  Either way, they will make it out just in time for the release of Smash Bros Ultimate on December 7th.

We typically don’t like to endorse any third-party controller (or at least I don’t….I can’t speak for the others on our team) the prospect of a wireless GameCube controller is quite awesome and one that I believe I would be more than willing to give a go since it doesn’t seem like Nintendo will be releasing any official wireless GameCube controllers for the Switch any time soon.
