Ubisoft is Bringing Some Family Fun With Three “New” Titles

September 4, 2018

Looking for something to play with the family?  Seems that Ubisoft has you covered if you like sports compilations, board games, and game shows!  It has recently been found on the ESRB website that  there are three listings for upcoming titles from Ubisoft.

Here are the titles along with their ESRB descriptions:

Sports Party
This is a collection of competitive outdoor sports games that can be played alone or against others. Games include golf, frisbee, basketball, beach racquetball, skateboarding, and jet skiing.
Hasbro Game Night
This is a collection of board games that include Monopoly, RISK, and Trivial Pursuit Live. In RISK, players use dice rolls to control groups of tanks as they attempt to take over the world. Tanks shoot at each other in brief animations, and certain dice rolls result in helicopters/planes dropping bombs on enemy units. Brief combat is highlighted by gunfire, explosions, and radio chatter (e.g., “Take ’em out!” and “Kill confirmed”).
America’s Greatest Game Shows: Wheel of Fortune & Jeopardy!
This is a compilation of two TV game shows: Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. Players compete to solve word puzzles by revealing hidden letters, and earn the most points by answering trivia questions in various categories.

Are these types of games your “cup of tea”?  Well, not to interject any kind of personal thought into this…which I am, it just seems that Ubisoft is going the way of “Wii” type support for the Switch all of a sudden, opting to only use the Switch platform for casual titles while not porting over anything of consequence for the more “mature” audience.  I really hope I turn out to be wrong on this one but thank goodness for Bethesda!
