Whether you love it or hate it, there is no denying the success of the Five Nights at Freddy’s series. The game has spawned 6 entries in the main series with two spin-offs for PC and mobile devices.
Scott Cawthon, the creator of Five Nights at Freddy’s, recently posted to the Steam Community about some upcoming projects and revealed some interesting news regarding the script for the movie adaption, as well as stating:
Console Port Progress: Deal signed; ports in progress! More news coming soon!
While no information has been released regarding which platforms in particular he is referring to but one can only assume that Switch ports would be included in that especially given how indies have been much more popular on Switch when released across multiple consoles.
Personally, I would love to see this happen as I would definitely support it given that one of my professors from the University of Mississippi was none other than Andy Field, a voice actor for two of the “Freddy” games.
