Thus far Bethesda has released Skyrim, Doom, Fallout Shelter and Wolfenstein II on the Nintendo Switch and has recently announced that Doom Eternal will be coming to the platform. They have been smart in supporting the Switch where many third parties are still being a tad reluctant.
There has been speculations by some as to the popularity of these titles and how well they have sold but it is fairly obvious that their releases must be at least a little profitable otherwise they wouldn’t still be supporting the system.
Pete Hines recently sat down with IGN for a Q and A and had this tidbit to share when asked about the Doom Eternal announcement alongside the other consoles:
“It was hugely popular – all of the stuff that we did. I think folks enjoyed and appreciated – and we wanted to make sure to say right up front that this is a title we want to bring to Switch, and we think it’s gonna be another awesome experience.”
