Dark Souls: Remastered released back in May on other platforms but the Switch version was put on hold, garnering some very unhappy people who were patiently awaiting the game. Today we have news that almost 5 months after the HD twins (we really need to come up with a better name…the Switch is HD as well!) got the title it seems that Switch owners will finally have the title in hand.
In a tweet put out by the official Bandai Namco US account, it is revealed that it will be releasing on October 19th. On that same day we will also be getting the Solaire of Astora amiibo as well.

An online Network Test will be scheduled prior to release. Stay tuned for more info. pic.twitter.com/WE1xNmLi0j
