August My Nintendo Rewards

August 1, 2018
Share

It’s a new month so that means new My Nintendo rewards.  This month Nintendo offers up more titles for the Wii U and 3DS but Switch is still left out of the mix despite having a placeholder for Switch rewards for several month before mysteriously vanishing.

Without further ado, here are this months offerings:

  • 3DS] 30% off Bravely Default: 90 Gold Points
  • [3DS] 30% off Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: 70 Gold Points
  • [3DS] 30% off Metroid: Samus Returns: 90 Gold Points
  • [3DS] 30% off Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest: 90 Gold Points
  • [3DS] 30% off Sakura Samurai: Art of the Sword: 160 Platinum Points
  • [Wii U] 40% off Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon: 300 Platinum Points
  • [Wii U] 50% off Metroid Prime: Hunters: 380 Platinum Points
  • [Wii U] 30% off Star Fox Zero: 110 Gold Points
  • [Wii U] 30% off Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE: 130 Gold Points

The rewards have been pretty stale since the induction of My Nintendo and really makes one long for the good ole’ days of Club Nintendo when you could actually spend your points on something tangible.  One of my favorite things I ever got from Club Nintendo is my hanafuda Mario themed deck.  It still sits proudly among my collection.  Don’t get me wrong, they do offer some nice discounts on some great games but ultimately it pales in comparison to the physical rewards of the past.

Is there anything on this list that you plan on spending your points on?  If you haven’t played it already, we HIGHLY recommend Metroid: Samus Returns!  Talk to us in the comments below or feel free to visit our new Community forum!
